&&overall personality: Riley is mostly a friendly person. The only time she's ever mean, is when only she can understand it. She makes sarcastic little jokes to herself that usually don't make sense to anyone but her, and maybe a couple people who think like she does. Though, that is a rare occurrence. She is extremely lazy, and spends a lot of time sleeping, although she tries to find things to do. They simply end up taking to much time in her mental play-out, so she procrastinates. She rarely ever speaks up, or speaks first. She thinks it's a lot like fate that she's a chameleon. She feels it matches her personality to a T. There's a lot of debate on it, but Riley likes to believe it's all magic.

&&history: When she was born, Riley assumes her parents were in love then. In fact, she's pretty sure they were in love until she was ten years old. Although, she can't be sure. She guesses they never really were. When she was ten, it didn't really come as a surprise when they got a divorce. Unfortunately, Riley had to live with her father. Her mom was a 36 year-old actress and not getting any younger. Needless to say, she wasn't getting many parts.

Of course, Riley wasn't surprised when her dad started bringing home 'new talent.' She played dumb, and kept to herself while he 'trained' them all night. Sure, she was a little sad. She felt like her family was broken up. But, she always was, and will be, a strong person. It was on-set that she discovered her first power. The movie her dad was working on had a scene in which people were speaking Russian. Of course, she didn't notice it at first. Someone mentioned that they needed to add in the subtitles. It was then that she realized they'd been speaking a different language and she just understood it. At first, she was a little freaked out, but she learned to live with it, and keep it a secret.

She didn't come to the mansion until she was 15, already in High school. She was a sophomore. She was extremely socially awkward. Like any other day, she was at her locker, minding her own business. It was hours after school, because she's a nerd, staying after What happens? She suddenly got slammed into her locker. It wasn't someone being mean. No. It was her principal. And her English teacher. even they didn't notice her at all. Of course, a million things happened at once. They freaked, she froze, they replaced clothing that needed replacing, and then it happened. Riley took on the colors of the lockers behind her.

The next day, she was called to the office and it was strongly suggested she find another school to attend. They even paid her off, even though they wouldn't have had to. But, she's not the type to turn down making a few extra dollars. Of course, her father took notice of her missing school and she finally had to come clean about her abilities. Her father went to work trying to find something out about them, and soon he got in touch with the headmaster of the Mansion. She was all too happy to pack up and move to Prevalence. A small town. She would have to deal with less people. Only drawback was that she would have to live with more people. Upon arriving, however, it was clear she would have plenty of alone time. The place was huge.
