Spending time on the Grounds(Sammy)

Amelia James was in her last period of the day which was English and she was seating in the middle listening to the teacher speak as she was taking notes. She loved being in English class since that class was her favorite out of all the classes she has taken at the mansion. When the teacher was done talking he gave them a reading assignment along with a set of questions to answer at the end. After the questions reached all the students the bell rang signaling the end of the day.

Mia smiled at that as she gathered her stuff before leaving the classroom by walking through the door. She loved the fact that she can be able to do that. She walked toward her dorm room where she also walked through the door and changed into jean shorts and a tank top with her brown hair in a messy bun. She grabbed her ipod and walked out of her dorm room again.

She walked out of the building and out into the grounds. She walked away and into the shade of some trees away from the building. Mia smiled to herself when she was in the shade before she stretched her muscles some. She then turned on her I-pod after she put her earbuds in her ears. She started to dance toward the music that was on her i-pod since she loved it a lot.

When Amelia was done she didn't know that anyone was there until she did her last spin and saw Sammy there dancing with her.

Luckily for Sammy, he was ahead in his math classes, and the school gave him a free period. If they didn't, he would be taking advanced calculus. But, the school felt that he should wait so that when he was a junior, he could take Calculus, then Physics in Senior year. He wasn't one to beg for classes, so he had taken the deal. While everyone else's day ended at three p.m., Sammy's ended at two. So, he used the time to go outside and basically screw around. He had his trusty sansa player with him. He still couldn't figure out an iPod, so he had bought one that only played music and had basic buttons. Not the spinny wheel thing those iPods had.

Not to mention, of course, his family had never had a lot of money. It stood to reason that Sammy wouldn't either. iPods weren't exactly the cheapest. Today, Sammy was out walking around. Of course, he was dancing around too. It depended on which song was playing through the ear buds. He was also attempting to occupy his mind. Not having a class could sometimes be a curse when he couldn't think of anything to do. Unfortunately, even though he didn't have a class, he was still required to stay on school grounds. Sammy just wasn't the type to break rules a lot. Some small ones, sure, but he didn't want to deal with a detention or anything.

When three finally rolled around, he was all too happy. It meant he could go to town to do something, or at least find someone to hang out with form school. He was all too happy to see Amelia walk out of the school. He attempted to wave, but she hadn't seen him. So, he felt awkward. He wondered for a minute if she even wanted company. Sammy milled about for a minute, then trailed after her. Normally, he wouldn't randomly follow people, but it was Amelia, and they were pretty good friends. Close enough that if she were trying to ignore him, she would just tell him. When he walked up, she was already dancing to a song on her iPod. Since Sammy's music was already playing, he just joined in, trying to match her beat as well.

He was still dancing when she spun around and saw him. He started laughing almost immediately. He put a hand up, trying to regain his composure and took one earbud out. "Sorry, I didn't mean to sneak up on you, but I didn't want to interrupt your flow." He laughed again, "So, how was...your day?"He asked, not sure what to say.
