to have the best experience here at Your Story!

Registering!

Please register with your characters first name. If you registered without reading the rules, no big. You are reading them now, and now you know.

You need to do your application above anything! Then, you need to post in the face claim, following the other claims. DO NOT post if your application isn't accepted. You must finish your application within a week of joining, or it will be denied. If you come back and want it replaced, please PM an admin and we will replace it for you.

Please talk to us! That is what the C-BOX is for! We are very sociable here, and we are welcoming to all new members, so don't be shy!

C-box!

So, here's the deal. Don't go advertising in the C-BOX! Seriously, that is what the advertising board is for. Don't worry, people will see it if they want to, stop making us!

No fighting! Guys, really, be mature. Don't act like six year olds and fight over stupid things. I've seen and heard them enough to know that they are annoying!

Remember: Don't be shy! We LOVE to chat with you! Just make sure to follow this rules or your I.P. will be temporarily suspended.

Roleplaying!

First of all, the primary rule. You must post in third person, past tense. If you do not follow this rule, you will not be able to post. If you don't know what that means, here's an example. "Bob walked to the store and sang loudly." You should NOT write, "Bob walks to the store and sings loudly." The code word is 'awesomesauce.'

Secondly, I was going to have this roleplay be realistic, but due to Proboards TOS, I can't even mention anything risque. So, if your thread goes in that direction....I mean come on, I have to put something regarding this, or some idiot is going to go ahead and have some full-out graphic session while I'm gone. So, I'm going to mention it in the least mature way possible. Don't do what mommy and daddy did to make you. Don't do anything illegal. Now that thats out of the way, lets pretend the world is made of rainbows and sunshine....In fact....that calls for a song.



You need to be descriptive. I do not want to see any one liners. There is a 200 word count minimum per IC post. There is a word counter in the sidetables, and one built into the site at the bottom of the 'Post Message' box. So please, take advantage of it. If you can't think of anything else, try this.

• Scenery- What's around you, what does it smell like? Colors, hot, cold, etc..
  
• Thoughts- What is your character thinking about? What do they think of the other characters involved?
  
• Action- Don't just have your characters doing nothing! It's a story, make it interesting!

Remember to check your spelling! Grammar is imperative. Capitalize, punctuate, this should go without saying. Also, no godmoddign or power-playing. You control you, and no one is absolutely perfect. If I see or hear of anyone doing this, it will be looked into and fair warning will be given.

Activity!

Please be active. I didn't put this site together and code everything so no one would come and roleplay. especially if you have ten threads going. Do not join if you are going abandon us within the week! However, I understand life interferes. So if that happens and you will be gone, please let us know in the boards! There's one for it. Use and abuse!

We will be having activity checks once a month when the board hits 50 members. This is also when voting will start.

Characters!

There is no limit on how many characters you can have. But you must put them ALL on different accounts. It gets confusing for some people, even if it isn't confusing for you, be considerate. If you
have four characters, one of the characters has to be a boy. That's great if all of them are, the more the better! Boys seem to be the minimum of characters on most sites.

Please do not whine if the face claim you wanted is taken. We don't want to hear it. You can PM the person and ask them if you want to be twins.. or.. your out of luck. It isn't then end of the universe if you don't
have the face you want.

No Mary-Sue's or Gary-Sue's allowed. ALL people have flaws and your characters have to too!

Graphics!

HUMAN playby's ONLY please! I do not want to see any anime characters. Why? This roleplay is semi-realistic. And cartoons aren't real.

I'd like signatures to stay below 500x300. Avatars will always be 100x100. You can have multiple images in your sig. Wither make them scroll, or make it look tasteful. Do NOT stretch the board. If it does, it will either be resized for you, or taken down.

Lastly, I don't want to see any pornographic images. Yes, this site has mature content. But, it's of the tasteful kind. Nudity in a signature is just kind of tacky.
